When Wealth and Power Count For Nothing

Naaman was a man of power; and man with wealth living the high life, until he contracted leprosy. Suddenly all his position and personal glory counted for nothing. He had a chance to heal his disease and instead received an even greater healing. This story reminds us that there is a deadly disease that affects us all, has no cure on this earth, and never will. This is the our biggest problem as humanity: that of sin and ultimately death.

The only cure comes through God. Nothing else works. Everything else we achieve or accumulate will count for nothing in the end. In spite of all the power Naaman had, he could not cure himself.
