Many individuals who are genuinely saved don’t take the subject of growing spiritually seriously. It’s as if it is enough that they have been saved from sin and are going to heaven, rather than realising their responsibility as a Christian to make serious headway in being the kind of person they ought to be in the eyes of God. They need to grow up!
Growth Results In Godliness
We are called to grow in our knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and this ought to result in real godliness in our lives. Christian growth is not an optional extra in the Christian life and we need to recognise what a growing Christian looks like.
