In today’s world as we know it, we are a touch away from each other virtually speaking. With a few taps on a screen, we can access so much information from across the globe. Considering that technology is fairly new on the scene, it posses a challenge to the traditional way of training children in the way they should go when children spends most of their days on the internet parented by virtual world. This causes a clash in the upbringing of a child because once a child is left on their own, the screens are teaching them how to think, behave and respond to real life situations.
The internet has some good information but also has a lot of harmful things especially for a young unsupervised child. Does the Bible provide necessary framework on how to tackle the challenge of connectivity of this new age?
Join us at the Zambia Annual Reformed Family Conference as Isaac Makashinyi looks at Ephesians 5:15-17 to address this topic of parenting and the internet.
This talk was delivered online at The Zambia Annual Reformed Family Conference, 2020.
